Miss Sydney Sky Sitters of Lantana, Texas, and Mr. Zachary Dale Curran of Denton, Texas, were united in marriage on January 3, 2015, at St. Mark Catholic Church in Argyle.
Miss Sydney Sky Sitters of Lantana, Texas, and Mr. Zachary Dale Curran of Denton, Texas, were united in marriage on January 3, 2015, at St. Mark Catholic Church in Argyle. The ceremony was officiated by Fr. George Pullambrayil, pastor of St. Mark, and Fr. James Wilcox, Diocesan Vocations Director. The couple celebrated after the wedding ceremony with a beautiful dinner and dance that was held at Hidden Springs Event Center in Aubrey.
The bride is the daughter of Amy and Joe Sitters of Lantana. She is the granddaughter of Pete and Rose Herrera of El Paso, Texas, and Yolanda and Jim Ahner, also of Elpaso, and the late Joseph Sitters. The groom is the son of Bret and Michelle Curran of Denton. He is the grandson of Don and Alice Gulyas of Sanger and Glen and Carole Curran of Sun City, Arizona.
Miss Samantha Sitters, sister of the bride, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Curran, sister of the groom, Sarah Curran, sister of the groom, Lindsay Phillips, Kate Umlang, Alexandra Wintz, Madeline Herrera, cousin of the bride, and Stephanie Wilke. Jillian Mayfield, cousin of the groom, served as Flower Girl.
Kevin Curran, brother of the groom, served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Brian Curran, cousin of the groom, Michael Curran, cousin of the groom, Alexander Walford, Conley Satterfield, Dylan Stiles, and Joshua Herrera. Serving as ushers were Jacob Herrera, Chase Medelberg, Michael Green, Clayton Eckel, and Charles Shelton.
Sydney is a graduate of John H. Guyer High School in Denton and the University of North Texas. She is currently employed by Deloitte - National Meeting Services. Zachary is a graduate of Denton High School and the University of North Texas. He is completing his student teaching at Stephens Elementary School in Denton.
After a honeymoon trip to Tennessee, the couple will reside in Denton.
