Serve Denton will host Texas Health and Human Services for an outreach event Thursday helping locals renew their Medicaid benefits.

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission Community Partner Program, in partnership with Feeding Texas and Serve Denton, is hosting a community event Thursday to help with Medicaid renewals.

Texans with Medicaid coverage may need to apply to renew benefits following the end of the federal continuous Medicaid coverage requirement, which expired May 31. Medicaid clients may have received notice via mail or electronically on the “Your Texas Benefits” website if they opted to receive paperless notifications.
