Jackie Jean Sanders Webster

Jackie Jean Sanders Webster, 75, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. She was born in Gainesville, TX on February 22, 1948 to Almer “Jack” Sanders and Hazel Munn Sanders. She grew up in Pilot Point and graduated from Pilot Point High School. Jackie attended the University of North Texas and graduated with a degree in social work. She worked as a social worker in Denton County for several years after college, then in the Texas Woman’s University printing department until she retired.

Jackie had a wonderful witty sense of humor. She loved animals and was always ready with a treat for all of the fur babies she met. She had a passion for growing flowers and vegetables and loved watching the things that she planted spring to life. Jackie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shopping, and watching local sporting events. The best words to describe Jackie were strong, determined, and fiercely independent. She made the best of the life she was given. She was able to put a positive spin on life and lived it to the fullest.

She is survived by her daughter Amanda Belcher, and her two grandchildren, Reagan Redmon and Tanner Belcher.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home in Denton, Texas on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 5-7 PM. Jackie will be laid to rest with her parents in New Hope Cemetery in Mountain Springs, Texas.
