David Lee Erwin

David Lee Erwin, 51, of Sanger, TX passed away at Medical City Denton on March 22, 2023. David, also known as “Bird Dog”, to friends, was an avid fisherman and loved being outdoors. He enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles, woodworking, making knives, collecting fossils and arrowheads, music, and art. Preceded in death by his grandparents and brother, Wesley Robert Erwin. David is survived by his two sons, Kade, 30, of Denton, TX and Gavin, 24, of Sanger, TX, granddaughter Arabelle Marie Erwin, parents Benny C. Erwin and Toni George Erwin, brother John Ray Erwin and wife Keely, nephews Ryan, Killian, and Wyatt. Graveside services will be held at Gribble Springs Cemetery on April 15th, 2023 at 2pm.
